Description of Duties:
Bentley University is seeking a full-time non-tenure track lecturer in taxation and law to begin September 2014. This is a position on a year to year contract. Candidates for this position should have demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a particular emphasis in taxation and a legal area with a business focus. Candidates should have a proven recent track record of teaching graduate tax courses as well as evidence of an ability to teach undergraduate and/or MBA law courses. The chosen candidate will teach graduate tax courses, and may also teach undergraduate and/or MBA law courses. The standard teaching load is 4-4 (four courses per semester).
The candidate must have excellent academic credentials including a J.D. from a competitive law school, admitted to practice in one state's jurisdiction, three years relevant work experience and teaching experience. Evidence of publications would be considered positively.
License(s) Required for the Position: Admission to practice by a state's Board of Bar Overseers
