The department of chemistry at Utah Valley University seeks a chemist for a tenure track opening. Ideal applicants will have earned a doctorate in chemistry. Applicants that complement the current department composition with experience in areas of inorganic, physical, industrial or analytical chemistry will be strongly considered. Under the direction of the department chair, the faculty member will instruct, develop and evaluate undergraduate freshman general chemistry courses and laboratories. In addition, the faculty member will teach upper division courses and laboratories in their area of expertise. To complement current expertise, industrial experience is considered a plus. The faculty member is strongly encouraged to establish an undergraduate research program.
