Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor, tenure track position in Educational Assessment in the College of Education and Public Service beginning August 2014.
Responsibilities include providing assessment planning and implementation for the College of Education and Public Service, providing program data analysis and reports, providing evaluation for the Professional Development School Partnership, improving the assessment process for educational leadership and teacher education, serve as the liaison to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, oversee certification, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in education, advising and mentoring students, engaging in research/scholarly activities, and serving on assigned committees.
Required qualifications include an earned doctoral degree in Education or a related field; university-level teaching skills; exhibit a commitment to scholarship and research, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students. Preferred qualifications include experience with public, parochial and/or private schools, educational assessment, CAEP training, and a commitment to educational improvement and social justice.
