Enrollment Services Manager (Director of Enrollment Management)

Penn State Schuylkill invites applications for the position of Director of Enrollment Management.  The Director of Enrollment Management reports to the Chancellor of Penn State Schuylkill, serves as a member of the cabinet and provides leadership, direction, supervision, and vision for a wide array of processes and services in support of the campus’s enrollment management goals for recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students, including enrolling a more diverse and inclusive student body. Develop and maintain relationships with various University offices and external agencies to enhance the effectiveness of various departmental responsibilities.  Assist in leading the development of the strategic planning and budget planning processes. Recommend new and/or revised policies and procedures in support of enrollment management goals.  In conjunction with the marketing staff, design, implement and analyze effectiveness of campus communication and marketing strategies.

This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience.  

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's degree preferred) plus six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3.  Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Supervise professional and support staff, including hiring, evaluating and training. Recommend process changes based on reports and analyses of enrollment trends and/or financial aid. Oversee implementation of enrollment management events and projects related to enrollment management of the unit and broader University.  Develop, analyze and manage budget for area of responsibility. Present reports and analyses of enrollment trends and/or financial aid to a variety of internal and external audiences.  Administer the evaluation process of reviewing credentials for students' applications for admission and/or financial aid, including review of exceptions.  Promote and support diversity programs in the workplace.

This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle as a part of the job duties.  A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be necessary in addition to standard background checks.
