Assists in the design, development and maintenance of technology-based education and interactive learning experiences. Exercises skills in current educational and internet technology, including major learning management systems, social media, office and multimedia software to create student centered training. Collaborates with IDS and multimedia specialists to develop materials that help learners achieve the required training outcomes.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, technology, education plus one year of experience directly related to job duties or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years. Minimum of six months of experience with HTML or Dreamweaver is required.
Graduation from an accredited institution with any BS/BA degree in a related major plus one year experience directly related to job duties or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.
Knowledge of and work-related experience in developing curriculum, educational programs, trainings, on-line courses, and/or educational media.
Demonstrable skill (such as found in a portfolio) in instructional design and developing and delivering creative learning experiences.
Ability to work as a team and manage projects.
Ability to design and develop instruction and training activities to meet desired learning outcomes for traditional, blended or online delivery.
Ability to design, develop, and maintain technology-enhanced learning experiences for delivery face-to-face and/or online via learning management systems or web content systems.
Ability to design student centered training activities.
Ability to implement web-based user or content systems on servers.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a diverse group of stakeholders including non technical and technical staff.
