The Health Care Systems Administration program is currently accepting applications for a 9 month tenure-track faculty position in the health care systems administration program. Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include advising students, orientation and registration of students, participation in University committees, keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance. Faculty members may be required to teach off-campus.Required: Master's degree in health administration, health management, public health, business or related field with a health concentration; or a related doctorate degree with a health concentration. Complete terminal degree before applying for tenure (preferably one year before tenure application). At least 2 years of prior work experience in a supervisory and/or management role in a health care setting; prior teaching in higher education. Preferred: Doctorate degree in related field; specialization and/or coursework in health care law, health care accounting, or health care finance; prior teaching experience in online and off-campus instruction; curriculum development experience; established record of scholarship, leadership and professional service.
