Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, plus 3 year of experience which must be directly related to the essential functions/duties of the position; OR any combination of higher education and work experience totaling 5 years, 4 of which must be directly related to the essential functions/duties of the position

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge

-Working technical knowledge of networking topology.
-Working technical knowledge of PC environments, including desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as multimedia applications (e.g. Creative Suite (Adobe), Final Cut Studio, etc) & specialty software used in university coursework (ARC/GIS, SPSS, etc.).
-Experience with computer lab imaging software (Ghost) & desktop security software (Deepfreeze, etc.) & automated scheduling software (Evanced, R25, etc.).
- Experience with a variety of multimedia & editing equipment (scanners, video capture devices, etc.).
-Working technical knowledge of platform operating systems (e.g. Windows7, Mac OSX, Linux, Chrome, etc.).
-Working technical knowledge of webpage development.
-Experience with classroom automation systems (Canvas, Blackboard, LanSchool, etc.)
-Ability to understand and apply a good knowledge of organizational goals and objectives.
-Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions in a user-friendly language.
-Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
-Highly self-motivated and directed.
-Keen attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
-Strong customer service orientation.
-Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, serving on campus wide technology infrastructure committees.

$30,052 to $46,360 DOE
