The Department of Music at The College of Wooster invites applications for a one-year visiting position in Upper Strings. The successful applicant will possess professional level performance skills as a violinist and be able to teach viola, and will teach violin and viola to undergraduate music majors and non-majors, and possibly one course in a secondary area (interdisciplinary first-year seminar, music theory, music history/literature, music education, chamber ensemble coaching, Wooster Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster), depending on the candidate’s training and interest. An earned masters or doctoral degree in violin performance or comparable professional experience is required.
