The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications from outstanding individuals for a new tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor rank in the area of urban resilience and environmental sustainability. Candidates must have earned a doctorate in civil or environmental engineering, or a closely related field. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in areas including, but not limited to: climate related impacts on urban and natural environments, energy and resource recovery from environmental systems, environmental impacts of energy development and resource recovery, water reuse and environmental restoration/remediation. Applicants must have potential or proven ability to develop a nationally recognized research program, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate (masters) levels. Eligibility to obtain Professional Engineering licensure is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
