The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2014. The position is renewable based on performance review and the needs of the department. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, with a specialty in the Solid Mechanics/Design area is required. The Department offers B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must be able to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in Mechanical Engineering, and engage in service. Scholarly research is strongly encouraged but not required for this position.
