The Manhattan College School of Business, an AACSB accredited school, seeks applicants for a tenure track or a visiting faculty position in Accounting, beginning in Fall 2014. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
Candidates with a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting or in a related field are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a master degree and CPA and strong relevant business experience or candidates with a law degree and LLM in taxation are also encouraged to apply. The Department seeks candidates with expertise in tax and accounting systems, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness, research accomplishments, and/or relevant work experience.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting, engaging in scholarly activities, engaging with the business community and participating in campus and off campus activities.
