Under the direction of the Director of Instruction, coordinate and organize professional development programs. Develop and implement marketing and sales of professional development programs based on community needs as well as analyzing results and adjust programs accordingly.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution plus five years directly related experience to the summary of duties or combination of education and experience totalling nine years is required.
Knowledge of Continuing Education, Professional Development, certification, and Community Education programs, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge and experience in marketing education programs.
Skill and ability to foster professional and working relationships with students, teachers, community leaders, donors, and office support staff as well as groups with competing interests.
Skill in the use of computers and computer applications.
Creative, problem solving, decision making, and entrepreneurial skills.
Ability to deal effectively with the public, instructors, and staff and to project a positive image for the University.
Ability and experience in managing program budgets.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a diverse group of individuals.
