Under the direction of Assistant Director Prospective Student Services (PSS), the Graphic Designer Prospective Student Services will: design and create printed and electronic materials for UVU recruitment programs; design and produce professional illustrations and layouts for use in university recruitment publications; assist in production of recruitment events.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and one year experience in similar duties or an associate degree with three years experience in similar duties or any combination of education and experience totaling five years.
Extensive knowledge of graphic design and the creative process for both printed and on-line materials.
Extensive knowledge of creating budgets for projects.
Skill in broad range of graphic design computer applications including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Experience in working effectively with vendor’s.
Experience with UVU requiring knowledge of admissions, registration and referral for prospective students
Strong organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and decision making skills
Ability to be flexible with creative design and time tables.
Ability to manage workload effectively.
Ability to organize and execute activities for prospective students
