Detailed Job Description

Creates and produces promotional videos University Relations for online marketing through all stages of video production from concept to delivery to include script writing, directing, lighting, camera and equipment operation, and editing.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience in media production, video/film, broadcast, or related field OR an associates degree and four years of experience directly related to video/film, broadcast field or a related area.


In-depth, working knowledge of a broad range of digital media design and development software including Final Cut Pro, After-Effects, Motion, Photoshop, Illustrator, Live Type, DVD Pro, or other audio recording and editing software. Working knowledge of digital video camera, lighting equipment and tapeless workflow. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of film and video production and production techniques in the new media environment.


Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines, managing a continuous workflow in a multi-tasking environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.


Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people.
