The Graduate Success Center Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Graduate Success Center in fulfillment of the goals and objectives of the grant. The Director will oversee all the functions of the graduate tutoring program for graduate and doctoral students, including tutor recruitment, tutor training, scheduling and supervision. Additionally, the Graduate Success Center Director will host a comprehensive orientation program for all graduate and doctoral students at the beginning of each academic year. This program is planned and implemented in collaboration with campus wide departments serving graduate students. The director will collaborate with the Career Center to provide career-related information and placement activities for graduate student. In keeping with grant requirements, the director will provide data to the Title V evaluation team to ensure compliance with agency reporting requirements.
1. Supervise all the functions of the Graduate Success Center as specified in the Title V Grant. 2. Oversee the graduate tutoring program. 3. Plan and host the Graduate Orientation Program at the beginning of every academic year. 4. Collaborate with the Career Center. 5. Provide information to campus community regarding services offered by the GSC. 6. Develop assessment plan, collect data and create reports in fulfillment to ensure compliance with Title V Grant requirements.
Graduate Degree – English, Education, similar disciplines will be strongly considered.
Doctorate – earned or in progress will be given strong consideration.
The hiring range for this position is dependent upon qualifications and departmental equity.
