Franklin College is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Athletic Training faculty position within our CAATE accredited ATEP. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching undergraduate didactic and clinical Athletic Training and related field classes; advising students; clinical education supervision; providing professional service to the college, community, and profession; engaging in scholarly activities with opportunities for immediate ATEP leadership; and other duties as assigned. Starting date: August 2012.
Masters with progress towards doctorate required; ABD or PhD preferred; PhD required for tenure; a minimum of 2 years for each of the following required: teaching Athletic Training and related undergraduate courses, BOC certification, and collegiate Athletic Training clinical experience.
Familiarity and/or experience with CAATE accreditation, standards and guidelines; experience using computer technology in the teaching/learning process; experience as an ACI; participation in professional activities and organizations; and multicultural experience and/or interest in multicultural issues preferred.
The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of good standing with BOC, NATA and the State of Indiana for Licensure.
