The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Washington State University (WSU) is inviting applications for a full-time, academic year (nine months), non tenure-track position in Electrical Engineering at the Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor level. This will be primarily a teaching-oriented position with an emphasis in teaching upper division courses in the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) program. This position will be based in Everett, WA, and will also be responsible for managing the operations related to the BSEE program at Everett Community College, including but not limited to hiring and supervising temporary instructors, coordinating operations with the EECS program in Pullman, and supervising the administrative and academic staff. Applicants must have earned a master’s degree by August 15, 2014, (a Ph.D. degree is preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching. The appointment will be a three-year renewable contract.
The School of EECS is the largest of six academic departments in the College of Engineering and Architecture at Washington State University. The School presently has forty faculty, and awards B.S., B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science, B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering.
