Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking to recruit an additional transplant surgeon for our Abdominal Transplant Division of the Department of Surgery.
The successful applicant must demonstrate a high level ability for team work. Completion of an approved ASTS program or equivalent experience in liver, kidney and pancreas transplants is required. Responsibilities include organ harvests, liver, pre- and post-operative patient care, research activity, and a strong commitment to teaching and resident training.
Candidates who are BC/BE certified and have active research interests, two years experience post-fellowship, and laparoscopic renal donor skills will be given preference. The ability to obtain a Missouri medical license is required. A competitive salary, benefits program and relocation assistance is offered.
