Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for a tenure track appointment in American politics, with a specialization in American political institutions, beginning August 2014. The appointment is at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor; PhD in Political Science required by August 2014. Candidates will teach courses in Congress, the presidency, political parties, and research methods, along with other graduate and undergraduate courses in American politics and institutions. The teaching load is 2/2.
The Department offers BA, MA, and MPA degrees. The department also collaborates with a variety of other programs throughout the university such as the Honors program, Women's Studies, and American Studies.
