The College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne is seeking a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Management beginning with the 2014/2015 academic year. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to excellence in teaching in one or two of the following areas: organizational theory/behavior, strategic management, international management, leadership, and introduction to management. Other specialty areas may also be considered. This position will involve teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Research and service are also expected.

This is one of three management tenure track positions at the College of Business and Public Management. There is no need to apply for all three positions, one application suffices.
The work load is split into 60/30/10 with teaching representing 60% of the work load, research and scholarly activities for 30%, and community service and community engagement for 10%. Faculty is expected to teach six courses per year at the graduate and/or undergraduate level.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Management or a related field from an accredited AACSB institution, or be nearing completion of the doctorate. ABDs with a graduation date of no later than June 30, 2014 are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to the candidates with an established, or clearly articulated future research agenda. Professional experience is also highly desirable.
