Description of Duties:
Develop and execute advancement strategies to secure support from prospects at the leadership gifts level ($50,000 and above) in preparation for and as part of a comprehensive fundraising campaign.

Develop and steward a caseload of 150+ prospects, traveling at least 25% of the time, to establish long-term donor relationships with the institution.

Work in collaboration with the Annual Giving staff to support mutually shared goals to help build the Annual Fund, while also identifying and cultivating new leadership gift prospects.

Work in collaboration with the Director of Gift Planning to meet fundraising objectives.

Work with the Center for Alumni, Parents & Friends, Corporate Foundation and Sponsored Programs and Career Services to ensure leadership gift prospects are given appropriate opportunities to engage with the institution.

Ensure personal prospects are receiving appropriate levels of stewardship once the gift has been received.

Understand the culture of the business university and effectively articulate the school's mission to alumni, parents and friends.

Additional Description of Duties: This position has a caseload of 150+ prospects and will travel at least 25% of the time to establish long-term donor relationships with the institution. Will work with other departments on campus on engagement activities for prospects and will ensure they are receiving appropriate levels of stewardship.

This person must understand the culture of the business university and effectively articulate the school's mission to alumni, parents and friends.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of development/fundraising or related experience, preferably in an educational institution.

Excellent writing and speaking skills and strong organizational skills required. Working knowledge of Millennium and conversant in basic gift planning techniques preferred.
