Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for its expanding School of Social Work in the College for Public Health and Social Justice.The successful applicant will have an MSW with at least two years of practice experience and a doctoral degree in social work or a related field. Although we are open to all substantive areas of expertise, we are especially interested in candidates with practice experience and a research focus in children, youth, and family services, mental health, and/or addiction. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching, a productive record of research publication and potential to secure external research funding. Primary responsibilities for the position include conducting independent research, teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses, and providing professional and community service.
