Responsibilities

1. Serve as a backup to the director in scheduling academic and event space on campus.

2. Provide logistical support, work orders, media request etc... for campus events (excluding the Soda Activity Center and Hagerty Lounge). 

3. Work collaboratively with a variety of offices and departments on scheduling strategies, advanced planning meetings and best practices workshops. 

4. Provide administrative support to the commencement director and committee, including the processing of work orders, contracts and associated documents.

5. Serve as a lead resource to members of the Astra Users Group. Provide assistance with scheduling software problem solving, and training.

6. Provide on-site support for special events as needed. This may include some nights and weekend work

7. Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

Education:
Required: BA degree or commiserate experience  

Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Higher Education setting highly desired.

Skills and abilities: Excellent verbal and writing skills. Superior organizational skills and attention to is detail. Basic computer skills include working with spreadsheets, word documents, goggle drive.  Familiarity with Ad Astra scheduling software-helpful but not necessary

Other Requirements: Occasional weekend or night work in support of major institutional events on campus.
