1. Coordinate all non-coaching video production for the Department, including: Video scoreboard content and graphics; multimedia content for, including highlight packages, interviews, feature stories, promotional videos and game previews; video highlights for West Coast Conference and local, regional and national television stations/networks; organize and produce all video streaming operations for live events; direct student intern video production program.

2. Serve as primary liaison to West Coast Conference for the league's Digital Network, including: Network scheduling and staffing, oversee on-campus production requirements, ensure expected quality control, hire, train and oversee student and non-student event staffing. Attend league meetings related to live streaming/digital network issues, procedures and best practices.

3. Coverage of specified sports (to be assigned). Duties Include: Department liason with print and electronic media ogranizations for assigned sports, writing weekly press releases to distribute to local and national media outlets, follow all specified sports contests, write game recap, update website, coordinate all interview requests for coaches and players, create programs and roster cards for all home events, maintain and update athletic archives, update specified sport's websites to include schedules, rosters, coaches, player bios, releases, and recaps, and write all releases on assigned sport. Provide content to various social media outlets.

4. Work with related campus constituencies in areas related to primary job functions, specifically College Communications, development, alumni relations and the Department of Communication within the School of Liberal Arts

5. Know, recognize, and comply with the laws, policies, rules, and regulations governing the College and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (including, but not limited to, NCAA Bylaw, Article 11 and its requirement to report all athletically-related income and benefits from sources outside of the College to the President) and of the West Coast Conference as now constituted or as may be amended in the future. Supervise and ensure that any assistants and any other employees and/or volunteers for whom you are administratively responsible comply with the aforesaid policies, rules and regulations. Immediately advise the Director of Athletics if you have reasonable cause to believe violations, whether by employees or students, have occurred or will occur.  

Experience and Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

2 years of applicable work experience, preferably in an athletic department at a college or professional level.

Proficient in and experience with live video television/internet production, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Stat crew and various video editing software. Must have excellent writing, editing, creative design and communication skills. Knowledge of game day operations and all related activities and equipment usage. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Strong interpersonal communications skills with the ability to deal with all levels of coaches, administrators and staff. Detail oriented with a focus on customer service, reputation/brand management and story telling

Other Requirements:
Must be able to work nights and weekends. Some travel required.
