Wheaton College (IL) invites applications from qualified candidates for an engineering program director. The position is part-time and the individual will oversee our existing dual degree engineering program. Students in the dual degree program complete requirements in a 3+2 year format with an ABET accredited engineering school or through our joint five year program with the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). The successful candidate will oversee all facets of the dual degree program including advising students, working with partner institutions on curriculum/transfer issues, and facilitating remote IIT course offerings for Wheaton students. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach two introductory level engineering courses per year. A demonstrated ability to teach engineering graphics and introductory statics courses is highly desirable. A master’s or Ph.D. degree in engineering is required and work experience outside academia is desirable.
