Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for a Tenure-Track or Non- Tenure Track Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor appointment in the Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy, beginning in the Fall 2013 or Spring 2014 Term. Nationally ranked, the department is situated within a campus that includes schools of medicine, nursing, and public health, as well as nine additional health professions. Collaborative scholarship and innovations in program development are inherent in this supportive, inter-professional culture. Individuals who model a commitment to occupational science and occupation based practice are specifically sought. Areas of expertise in geriatric practice, adult physical rehabilitation or assistive technology are desirable.
Candidates must be registered occupational therapists with an earned clinical or research doctorate or ABD, and eligible for Missouri licensure. Applicants with 5 years of practice and academic experience are preferred. Salary, rank, and tenure status is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
