The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level starting in July 2014.

The successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as have the opportunity to teach in Saint Mary’s January Term and Collegiate Seminar (Great Books) programs. The typical teaching load is six courses per year.

Experience and Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics by July 1, 2014 and a strong record or potential in both teaching and research. Applicants in all areas of mathematics will be considered, with preference given to candidates whose area of research complements those of the department. The ability to teach computer science will also be considered a plus.
