Tenure Track, Assistant Professor, Analytical Chemistry position beginning January 1, 2014. Teaching responsibilities include general chemistry, analytical chemistry, plus an upper level course in his/her specialty. The successful candidate will complement existing green and environmental chemistry curriculum and research. Interest in furthering the department’s lab curriculum and high school chemistry educator preparation is preferred. A typical assignment is two lecture sections and two or three laboratory sections each semester. Finalists for the position will be invited for an on-campus interview that will include a teaching demonstration.
A Ph.D. in Chemistry with demonstrated research experience and commitment to teaching excellence and willingness to sponsor undergraduate research are required.
