The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for the following six faculty positions with an expected start date of fall 2014. The Daniels College of Business is the one of the largest colleges within the University, with 1,300 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. ACCOUNTANCY, Assistant/Associate Professor

The School of Accountancy invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor to teach six core courses throughout the academic year in the areas of managerial, financial or systems accounting and conduct research in accounting. Candidates should possess a doctorate in Accounting or closely related field. ABD will be considered, but must be completed no later than March 31 of the first year with Daniels; demonstrated excellent teaching record and maintenance of appropriate faculty qualifications (Scholarly Academic) under AACSB standards.  

ACCOUNTANCY, Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor

The School of Accountancy invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor to teach 7-8 courses throughout the academic year in the areas of managerial, financial or systems accounting and conduct research in accounting. Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Accounting or closely related field and maintenance of appropriate AACSB standards.  

BUSINESS ETHICS AND LEGAL STUDIES, Assistant Professor

The Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies invites applications for an Assistant Professor to teach six core courses throughout the academic year in the areas of sustainability, role of business in society, corporate social responsibility and business ethics and conduct research in business ethics and legal studies. Candidates should possess a doctorate in Management, Natural Resource Economics, Sustainability, Environmental or Natural Sciences, Environmental Policy, Business Ethics, and/or Social Perspectives or closely related field. ABD will be considered, but must be completed no later than March 31 of the first year with Daniels and maintenance of appropriate faculty qualifications (Scholarly Academic) under AACSB standards.  

BUSINESS INFORMATION AND ANALYTICS, Assistant Professor

The Department of Business Information and Analytics invites applications for an Assistant Professor to teach six core courses throughout the academic year in the areas of business intelligence, data warehousing, decision processes, business metrics and/or predictive analytics. Candidates should possess a doctorate in Statistics, Information Technology, Operations Research, Decision Sciences or related field. ABD will be considered, but must be completed no later than March 31 of the first year with Daniels; previous teaching experience at the college/university level and maintenance of appropriate faculty qualifications (Scholarly Academic) under AACSB standards.  

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT, Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor

The Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor to teach 7-8 courses throughout the academic year in the areas of hotel & resort management, revenue management, lodging sales management and hospitality services management. Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Hospitality Management; five years of managerial/executive position(s) in hospitality demonstrating increased responsibility over time and maintenance of appropriate AACSB standards.  

MANAGEMENT, Assistant Professor

The Department of Management invites applications for an Assistant Professor to teach six core courses throughout the academic year in the areas of organizational behavior, and possibly international management. Candidates should possess a doctorate in Organizational Behavior or related field. ABD will be considered, but must be completed no later than March 31 of the first year with Daniels; previous experience connecting with leaders in the business community to advance the visibility and success of the Management Department and maintenance of appropriate faculty qualifications (Scholarly Academic) under AACSB standards.
