Wheaton College (IL) invites applications for the position of Director of the Marion E. Wade Center and Marion E. Wade Chair of Christian Thought. The Wade Center is a major research collection of materials by and about seven British authors: Owen Barfield, G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Dorothy L. Sayers, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Charles Williams. This is a position with both administrative and scholarly responsibilities, encompassing the leadership of Wade Center holdings, programs, and staff; fundraising; and teaching, writing, and research on the Wade authors. As an administrative position with faculty status, this is a non-tenure-track appointment. Academic status and rank within a specific department and salary will be dependent upon qualifications.
