The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for an Executive MBA Program Director/Full Clinical Professor in the Daniels Executive MBA (EMBA) starting as early as September 2013, but has an open start date. The EMBA is an academic unit of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver in Colorado. DU is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountain region, with approximately 11,600 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. DU is classified as a Doctoral/Research University with high research activity. The Daniels College is the eighth oldest collegiate business program in the U.S. and has held AACSB accreditation since 1923. Current enrollment in Daniels includes more than 1,300 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. The Daniels Executive MBA (EMBA) is a highly selective academic program tailored to the needs of experienced professionals. Offering students a strong sense of community, outstanding reputation, an integrated, holistic curriculum and an emphasis on using one’s business skills to make a difference, the EMBA is an 18-month program which includes equal components of leadership, business/technical acumen and execution discipline.
EXECUTIVE MBA PROGRAM, Executive MBA Program Director/Full Clinical Professor
Executive MBA (EMBA) invites applications for an Executive MBA Program Director/Full Clinical Professor. This position will have overall responsibility for curriculum design and program development and will be expected to teach in the EMBA Program, as well as contribute to the design, implementation and delivery of some of the Daniels open enrollment and custom corporate programs. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Business or a Juris Doctorate (JD); two years of teaching full or part-time at the graduate business level; experience designing cross disciplinary, integrated academic programs at the graduate level; knowledge of program and course assessment processes; ten years corporate or consulting experience with responsibilities in the area of talent and organizational development, human resource management, business analytics, finance, business law, accounting, sustainability, marketing or information technology; must be familiar with current Talent Management and Human Resource Development processes (succession planning, high potential candidate identification, etc.) and maintenance of appropriate AACSB standards.
