PART-TIME FACULTY POSITION/ART FOUNDATIONS: (Haverhill Campus) 12 hours per week (Division of Technology, Arts, and Professional Studies) (MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position) Anticipated Start Date: September 2013
Teach foundational and advanced courses in the Art Department; mentor undergraduate students.
Master of Fine Arts degree required. Ability to teach foundations courses such as color theory, 2D Foundations, Drawing and Painting. Applicants are expected to bring expertise, technique, professionalism, and creative exploration into their classrooms and must be able to demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and flexibility. Interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to integrate appropriate technology into teaching strategies are expected. Demonstrated ability to teach within, and contribute positively to a diverse, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student population and campus environment required.
Prior teaching at the college level preferred.
Ability to teach 3D Foundations preferred.
Salary: $920.00 per credit hour, $613.33 per lab hour
