Full-Time Faculty Position/Nursing Instructor: (Division of Health Professions) (MCCC/MTA Unit Position). Anticipated start date: September 4, 2013
Responsibilities: Teach classroom, laboratory and clinical courses in Pediatric and Foundations of Nursing in the Associate Degree Nurse Option. Participate in curriculum development, implementation, evaluation and revision using defined program outcomes. Maintain office hours and advise students. Participate in College service activities.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing. A minimum of five years full-time experience in nursing and evidence of clinical competence in the area of clinical and/or classroom instruction. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience in nursing education preferred, with currency in teaching/learning theory and techniques for a diverse student population. Knowledge of nursing curriculum design is preferred.
Salary: Anticipated starting salary range is $42,921 - $65,000 per academic year; complete fringe benefit package. Actual salary will be determined in accordance with classification determination of MCCC/MTA salary schedule commensurate with education and experience.
