Saint Louis University is a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking applicants for the position of Division Director of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine and the Saint Louis University Cancer Center.

The existing Division of Hematology and Oncology currently has six faculty members with well established clinical research activities and clinical practices. The institution supports an established fellowship in Hematology and Oncology. The Division of Hematology and Oncology is a regional referral center for patients with coagulation disorders. Suitable candidates should be board certified and be funded researchers who are interested in building a program that will become a regional and national force in academic medical oncology. The successful candidate will be expected to recruit additional faculty to positions at Saint Louis University and at the John Cochran Veterans Administration Medical Center. Additional existing resources include a new Cancer Center, research space, and start-up funds for research. An endowed chair is available to support this position. There are ample opportunities for research collaborations with basic science departments, clinical researchers including the School of Public Health, and SLUCOR (the Saint Louis University Center for Outcomes Research).
