The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor beginning Fall 2013. We are seeking applicants with particular expertise in pharmacology and neurobiology. Experience with the biology of aging and/or pathophysiology is desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels (on-ground and on-line), maintain and active research program with student involvement, and participate in student advising and university committee work.
Qualifications and Special Instructions to Applicants
Qualifications for this position include a PhD in pharmacology/neurobiology or a closely related area, and some teaching experience at the college level. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate evidence of an active research program.
