This position will provide administration for an academic department within the College ensuring the successful operation and continuation of the program and teach courses within that program. It provides quality instruction in a degree-granting program to students that will allow them to graduate with employable skills. Must be familiar with OBN and NLN. The position has authority and responsibility for the development and administration of the program and is responsible for maintaining departmental budgets, assuring quality curriculum, development of new programs and enrollment management of the A.D.N. program. Additionally, this position participates in College, professional and other activities which support and enhance student learning, the objectives of the College and the professional community.
Graduate degree with a major in nursing – MSN; Completion of an approved registered nursing education program
Experience for at least five years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, two of which have been as a faculty member in a registered nursing education program
