Instructor: a Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the disciplines being taught, evidence of ability or promise as an effective teacher and evidence of the ability to do continuing scholarly or creative activity and no experience required
Assistant Professor: an earned doctoral degree, 18 graduate hours in the disciplines being taught, minimum 3 years teaching experience with evidence of ability or promise as an effective teacher and evidence of the ability to do continuing scholarly or creative activity
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC.: Marked competence and considerable perspective in his/her respective field of study; ability to proofread and good knowledge of English; good language and grammatical skills; good organization skills; operational and interpretative skills of equipment used in the department, experience in academic course and laboratory design; must demonstrate evidence of steady professional growth and competence in teaching, scholarly or creative activity; good personnel supervisory skills; thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations as associated with courses taught in their respective discipline; professional dress and demeanor; professional attitude; willingness to work overtime as needed; positive attitude and willingness to work with other faculty as part of a team and be supportive of the University.
