Description of Duties:
Join an energetic team of fundraising professionals! This person develops and implements individual fundraising donor strategies focused on growing the Annual Fund, including the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of leadership annual fund gifts within the Chairman's Circle (min $100,000), Trustee Council ($25,000-$99,999), Leadership Circle ($10,000-$24,999) and Dean's Council ($5,000-$9,999). This person performs outreach to undergraduate and graduate alumni and carries a portfolio of 100-150 prospects, focusing on alumni in non-reunion years to build a strong pipeline for Bentley's growing Reunion Giving and Leadership Gifts programs.

This person assists the Director of the Annual Giving in all areas of the Annual Fund, including establishing and coordinating strategies, overall communication and stewardship plans, annual solicitations, volunteers and other activities as required.

Highly quantifiable, measurable goals are established for this position, and the person is expected to personally contribute to the overall achievement of the goals set for the division by the Vice President of University Advancement as requested. This position requires extensive travel in New England, on on average 10+ days a month, averaging 20 solicitation visits a month.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required plus 7 years of proven educational fundraising experience with a solid record in securing gifts. A comprehensive understanding of higher education development highly desirable. Demonstrated success in program development, ability to work collaboratively with diverse campus constituencies. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of MS Office; experience with Millennium a plus. Must hold and maintain a valid, unrestricted United States driver's license, with an insurable driving history as determined by Bentley's insurance carrier.
