ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

  • Work within collaborative Parker University team to achieve and exceed revenue goals for sponsorships. – 35%
    • Gain thorough knowledge of programs requiring sponsorships, including but not limited to Seminars and Continuing Education;
    • Collaborate regularly with Parker University stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to solicitations.
    • Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors within institutional CRM database tool;
    • Meet with relevant Parker University departments to secure benefits that are incorporated into sponsorship packages;

 

  • Develop and implement overall sponsorship sales strategy. – 35%
    • Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each program (i.e., Seminars, Continuing Education, etc.);
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors;
    • Qualify, cultivate, and solicit new relationships outside of the chiropractic profession to grow prospective sponsor pool
    • Utilize various communication methods as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each program;
    • Negotiate sponsorships and review all agreements. Secure approval for any departures from pre-approved rights and benefits;
    • Create new sponsorship programs and proposals with strategic vision
  • Manage sponsor contracts. – 30%
    • Track and maintain records for sponsor contract performance to ensure promises delivered;
    • Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached;
    • Collaborate with Advancement on the creation of a stewardship plan for sponsors, including but not limited to acknowledgement letters, information on scholarship recipients and invitations to key events
    • Coordinate with program and marketing teams in preparing promotional material including but not limited to advertisements, new releases, social media content, and promotional materials;
    • Maintain knowledge of program timelines and sponsorship deadlines;
    • Provide sponsors a measurement of their return on investment;
    • Greet and cultivate sponsors at sponsored events;
