Qualifications

*Bachelors-Required *Masters-Preferred *Sports Information

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: *Communicates effectively with all levels of the institution and outside constituents. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations *Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress *Writes clearly and informatively *Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness *Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Develops realistic action plans. *Reacts well under pressure. *Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with the internet *Must have general knowledge of assigned sports *Experience in video editing *Ability to travel and maintain flexible hours

Essential Functions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *Write press releases *Serve as the official game scorer and provide play-by-play *Produce game programs and game notes *Update athletic website and social media pages *Prepare video highlights *Supervise web streaming productions *Supervise student workers *Interview coaches and student-athletes
