This position plays a key role in the support of web properties and project coordination in the area communications for the WSU College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences and WSU Extension. The individual independently provides daily administration, development, and maintenance of web sites(s) for the college and WSU Extension. The individual coordinates and provides support for web projects either independently of or in conjunction with the Web Service Center.
A Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in web site design, development and maintenance. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Experience with HTML, CSS.
Experience with Google Analytics or comparable web analytics software.
Experience with content management systems and best practices; experience with WordPress a plus.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, and other web design/production tools.
Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences.
Able to coordinate several assignments concurrently, including collaborating with communications personnel and designers in the execution of tasks; meet deadlines.
Able to work under tight deadlines and pressure, maintaining a professional demeanor.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
