Under general supervision, provides primary job and demographic information setup and maintenance for all of employees in the Banner HR module; reviews and applies Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAF) based on appropriate criteria and is responsible for data integrity; performs data audits to support accurate data maintenance within the Banner HR Module; ensures compliance with federal regulations and University policies and procedures

High School diploma; supplemented with two (2) years of related experience.
Workflow Management: Reviews and approves all Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs); identifies and monitors completion of I-9 and tax information for new hires and rehires; communicates with employees, departments, business managers, and executives with regards to issues, errors, clarifications, and comments to ensure accuracy of EPAFs submitted for approval. Timely application of EPAFs is critical to assure proper payments to employees, termination of pay to separating employees (to avoid over payments) and accurate labor charges (particularly important for grant funding); partners with payroll and EPAF originators to ensure approved EPAFs meet payroll deadlines.
Customer Service: Provides on-going support and workflow resolution to internal users of Banner forms, policies and procedures; provides communication to departments on EPAF statuses, corrections, and errors; communicates with user groups to inform them of critical deadlines.
Data Integrity: Assists with completion of assigned daily, biweekly, and monthly audits to ensure data integrity; modifies the Banner HR Module information; provides detailed descriptions in the database of corrected or adjusted information to support and provide an accurate audit trail.
Training: Assists with development and maintenance of training and procedure manuals; develops and maintains written and online HR documentation, reference, and training materials.
Completes employment verification and subpoena requests as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
