Responsibilities

This is an advertisement for multiple positions for the Fall 2013 semester.  The following assignments are available: teaching laboratory sections for the first course in the general biology sequence for majors (Bio 1, Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics), two lecture sections and one laboratory section for upper division General Ecology course (Bio 125), lecture and laboratory section for the Biochemistry (Bio 135) and Molecular Biology (Bio 137).  

The laboratory schedule and syllabus for Bio 1 and Bio 125 are in place and the instructor will need to follow the existing schedule. The instructors for Bio 135 and Bio 137 will be required to develop the lecture and laboratory syllabus and schedule.

Experience and Qualifications:

Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in the relevant area of Biology. A Ph.D. in Biology is highly desirable.  Candidates should have a record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
