Job Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of clinical course content and activities of the Electroneurodiagnostics (END) Program, in such areas as EEG, EP, PSG, NCS, LTEM, IOM and refresher courses as necessary

• Schedules END student clinical rotations

• Advises and counsels students on proper documentation techniques and provides feedback to students

• Administers competency testing to END students

• Reinforces the instruction provided by faculty by utilizing a variety of learning modalities in the labs

• Establishes an effective record-keeping system to ensure program and students meet and maintain accreditation standards

• Maintains and develops current clinical sites while also assisting with seeking and securing new sites for the students

• Assists in the development of policies related to the END program

• Assists in recruitment and marketing activities for the program

• Provides formal END instruction each semester

• Assists with student instruction in various END labs as needed

• Participates in program and division committees and maintain current and accurate records as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


• Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of demonstrated END clinical experience

• Must have current registry and recent experience in EEG and NCS

• Must have current BLS for healthcare providers

• Must have valid driver’s license with the ability to regularly travel to and from various clinical sites

• Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team

• Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations


• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills

• Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to promote student success

• Ability to effectively complete work assignments independently

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Electroneurodiagnostics theories, concepts and practices with the ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations as it pertains to the departmental focus

• Demonstrated intermediate project management skills

• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Blackboard (or equivalent program)

• Demonstrated basic proficiency with Banner (or equivalent program)

• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to confidentially and discreetly handle subject matters requiring privacy and sensitivity

• Ability to collaborate, persuade, gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas on significant projects

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key contacts to enhance work flow and quality

• Ability to research and analyze issues and develop solutions

Preferred Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field

• Demonstrated teaching or training experience

• Registry and demonstrated clinical experience in all areas of END (EEG, EP, CINM, NCS, PSG, LTM)
