Description of Position: This is a term, variable-time Non-Tenure Track lecturer position within the Rehabilitation Institute, College of Education and Human Services. It is an appointment in the Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration program. This position is contingent on available funding.
Responsibilities of Position:
Requirements: The rank of Lecturer requires the completed doctoral degree with a concentration in Rehabilitation, Counselor Education, Counseling, Psychology or a related discipline. The applicant's area of specialty is open but should be compatible with, and preferably complement, current faculty's specializations in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration. Applicant must hold Rehabilitation Counselor certification (CRC) at time of hire. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the area of aging. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge in the psychological and sociological processes of aging, including knowledge of lifespan issues, and rehabilitation of aging clients.
