Under the broad supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions, this position provides support to the Board of Admissions in meeting annual enrollment objectives through participation in Boston audition and interview events, scheduled on Saturdays annually from August through March. Functions as a highly trained admissions interviewer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Functions as a primary interviewer for the admissions A&I initiative, assuring the highest quality experience for the applicant in regards to the interview component of the application.
  2. Supports maximizing the quality of the prospective student experience with a focus on strong customer service.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.

  • Occasional evening and weekend hours during busy times

Required Skills

  1. Strong interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  4. Strong customer service orientation.
  5. Results oriented with proven track record

Required Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. Minimum 1 year related experience required
  3. Strong identification with the mission of the college
  4. Strong commitment to prospective student servicing.
  5. Musical background, strong understanding of music industry, and music theory knowledge.  Berklee alumni preferred.
  6. Familiarity with word processing, database, social media, and chat technologies.
