Detailed Job Description

The Strength and Conditioning Specialist is responsible for assisting with all facets of the varsity weight room and supervising the strength and conditioning training of assigned team(s).

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in strength and conditioning training of intercollegiate athletes. Positions require CSCS or SCCC certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in education or science area.

SCCC certification.

Varied sport and institutional experience.

Experience in Division I Intercollegiate Athletics.

Work experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Experience that demonstrates a professional philosophy that supports student-athlete welfare and is in compliance with department, state, and NCAA rules.

Work experience that demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail and computer generated lifting programs.

Monthly Salary

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
