Under administrative direction, designs and produces communications that further the University’s business goals and expand and strengthen the Saint Louis University brand.
Knowledge and proficiency with design software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge of design process, typography, printing methods, print production and supervision

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; supplemented with two (2) years of professional experience in conceptualizing, designing, and producing printed materials.
Designs on-brand communications that assist the University in meeting student recruitment, fundraising, and prestige-enhancement goals.
Works collaboratively within the division and with outside clients to reach innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
Meets with clients to assess their needs; and if applicable, collaborates to find solutions that meet their needs while working in conjunction with university branding.
Oversees production of design projects, which includes bidding projects to appropriate vendors, preparing design files for production, and going on press checks to ensure standards are being met.
Stays current with design trends and technology.
Logs project information into the design services job database.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Oversees student worker activities to make certain time is spent in a productive and efficient manner.
