This position is primarily responsible for researching and analyzing academic, financial aid, and compliance related data and information in support of the athletics department. Responsible for providing both qualitative and quantitative data and statistical research to athletic administrators to help make sound data driven decisions. This includes performing some administrative duties as well as assisting in other job related duties as they are assigned.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years is required.
NCAA & Academic terminology including, but not limited to the following: Academic Progress Rates, Graduation Success Rates, ACT, SAT, Core Courses, Eligibility Requirements, etc.
Knowledge on how to compute grade point averages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Organization, prioritization, and planning.
Proficient in statistical software and data entry.
Excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Researching and analyzing data related to academics, financial aid, and compliance.
Noticing trends in data sets.
Assist with creating tables and charts for presentations and publications, and providing interpretations for result tables and charts.
