Detailed Job Description

Assist in managing, securing and fulfilling corporate partnerships with the athletic department. Assist in managing and coordinating athletic department ticketing, including sales promotion, marketing and fundraising efforts. Develop community relations as well as coordinating and supporting events, promotions with other UVU athletic administrators. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Business Management or a related discipline or education and experience to total four years of related duties as described in the summary of duties.


Knowledge of planning, scheduling and fundraising techniques.

Knowledge of NCAA regulations and university policies and procedures.

Knowledge of marketing techniques.

Knowledge of general accounting principles.

Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.


Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

Skill in the establishment, administration and promotion of collaborative community-based programs.


Ability to operate a computerized ticketing system.

Ability to develop and present program and promotional ideas.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Pay Range

$11.71 to $14.63 per hour
